This enormous cemetery (Calle Zapata) is considered to be one of the five most impressive of the world.  The marble monuments compete for kitsch and pathos, but no panic, there are also fine monuments in art deco and radical modernist style.

Havana Reporters Association Mausoleum.  By the hand of Arnaldo Mesa, and also dating from 1956.  An assymmetric cross accompanies a wallspan chapel.
