WHAT IS MAY 20TH TO YOU???? ....
To many it will be a normal Sunday - church, a family day, Sunday lunch ....
This year May 20th means more than just a normal Sunday to sufferers of
Behcet's Disease - this year May 20th has been designated:
International Silk Route (Behcet's) Disease Day
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR MAY 20TH????? ........
There are many things that you could do to mark this day and here are just a
few.
Firstly, there is a Press Release about May 20th and how it has been
designated International Silk Route (Behcet's) Disease Day.
It also explains what Behcet's disease is and how this rare disease affects
us. Our aim is to get as many articles printed in local/national press
or a mention on local/national radio and television across the world. If
we all pull together and everyone of us manages to get a small mention in the
media in our respective countries we can and will make a difference. The
awareness this would give us would be more than we have ever received.
