Original Description

« Thallus segmented, segments cylindrical with rounded ends. Large central stem, diameter 825-1062µ. Primary branches 64-83µ in diameter, cylindrical, lomg relatively straight. Tufts of secondary branches 42-63µ thick. Sporangia ovoid, diameters 130-170µ and 145-260µ high.
