I m 39 years old and have just started learning about life help The only thing I know . If you keep doing what you ve always done . you ll keep getting what you always got . and that s about it in a nutshell. just nice. Sounds like the beginning of the movie Trainspotting . Life can be like that especially if you do ok and get by better than some. You know you need to make that change Educate yourself . Take a risk Leave the job . Take a risk Borrow more money Take a risk . Make a future . Take a risk . My wife and I have just done exactly that. Last year, while employed , we travelled a bit, educated ourselves a little and invested off-plan overseas. It was a wonderful experience, the education, the cultures, the experience. If you can afford it then do it. Borrow the money, do your homework and then you will have to wait. Perhaps your investments will do nicely, on paper they look good. You still have to wait.
