The manor house was built in the
late 17th century by a close relative of the famous
norman poet, member of the Académie,
François
de Malherbe
(1555-1628) who gave it his name: "la Malherberie".
It was updated during the 18th century, and
remained the property of the Malherbe family until
the early 19th century. Situated in peaceful
outstanding hilly surroundings (five hole
golf
course on a 7
hectare surface, small lake), the manor is equipped
with modern comfort (bathroom, kitchen, central
heating) while retaining its character.
