On June 5th, 1999, in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat near Nice (France), Loïc LEFERME broke the world record of "No Limit" apnea by descending at a depth of 137 m. The last record (135 m) was the property of the Italian apneist Gianluca GENONI, since October 8th, 1998.
