Two years after the launching of the Piper's Memorial project, the unveiling was conducted successfully on the 20th July 2002.

The Piper's Memorial Association now turns its efforts towards :

- maintenance of the monument ;

- Continue information concerning the Memorial ;

- Organization of annual ceremony.
