As you can see i'm changing
the look of my website slowly. I decided to change from black
to white because all my next pictures will be with a white
background. The year 2002 was good in collecting even if my work kept me away from the quarries, still i have found exquisite specimens from Mont. St-Hilaire. Some orange serandite, superb quartz, giant microcline and many more and from Asbestos, a have prehnite specimens peppered with mm pink garnets. What i have for you is a new
article from MSH with many pictures from my giant
quartz and sphalerite discovery made in august 2002.
I'm sure you will enjoy it. Drop a note for your comments they
are always welcome. My dad started to cut gem stone
at the Montreal mineralogical club and if you ever come across
a used machine in good condition for cutting and available for
trading with minerals send me an email. I would be happy to
get one for him. Have a good time on my
website Daniel Comtois

What's new ! What's new !
What's new ! A new section is born, the FLUORESCENT MINERALS. I just began to do UV pictures with minerals specimens from MSH. I'm so happy with the result that i inserted that new section even if it is not completed and i will add new pictures when i can. These are the minerals sections i updated with new pictures. Some of those are new specimens and others are same specimens but redone with my Nikon Coolpix 4500. Thrust me it worth the look just for their beauty. When you'll go in the sections just check the thumbnail pictures with the white back ground it will show you that these are new ones. Daniel Comtois |
