Arthur C. Clarke Bibliography

Arthur C. Clarke Bibliography

Arthur C. Clarke is the last of the big 3 of the fifties on my list (Asimov & Heinlein are already done). Clarke was always more likely to get the science right, but without ignoring the characters (which was a hallmark of most hard SF of the day). Important works include "Childhood's End", "2001: A Space Odyssey" [necessary to understand the movie], and "The Nine Billion Names of God" [his best collection].
[C] == Story Collection.
[YA] == The book is for young adults (however you define them).
[O] == Omnibus. Includes other books.
[= ...] == Also known by this other title.
rev == Revision of the other book.
