I'm 14 years old and have lots of video game experience. If I recall correctly, I got a Sega Master System when I was 3 and traded it for a Nintendo a few years later. I had SMB2 and loved the cute little Shy Guys. So there starts my love for SMB2 in general. I started to get interested in ROM hacking and emulation a couple years ago when I got internet access. Through that I found out about secrets in games, betas, and Japanese versions. It just snowballed from there on out!

Well, I'm 16 years old and also had lots of fun with video games, especially on Nintendo consoles. I first played Nintendo games when I was around 4 years old, and I got my NES for my 5th birthday. It was around that time when I first played SMB2, and I really loved that game. I can't say it was my all-time favorite but it was still really fun. Too bad I never owned that game ... I got involved in emulation on September 1998, when I saw someone play FF3 (US) on a SNES emulator, and I got the SMB2 ROM several months after. I didn't have so much fun playing it on the emulator, until I discovered level data and started hacking the ROM. Since then, and even now, I've been having a lot of fun with that game, just like when I first played it on the NES. I heard about Doki Doki Panic a few months ago, and got a bit amazed when I saw what SMB2 used to be ... Ok, I said enough.

I was born on April 30, 1984, that means that I am 16 years old. I was a good kid while I was growing up so my Uncle decided to by me and my siblings a Nintendo for Christmas. I was 5 years old that Christmas so I've been playing Nintendo for over 11 years. Of course our Nintendo came with the Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt cartridge and the Zapper. That started my love for Mario and video games in general. Super Mario Bros. 2 and I had a love/hate relationship it loved me but I didn't particularly like it. Actually BMF54123 and his sister enjoyed it a heck of a lot more than I did. I didn't start really appreciating all that was and is SMB2 until I got into emulation about 2 years ago. I have loved the game ever since.

Umm...I was born on June 9, 1980. This would make me 20 years old. I think. Anyway, SMB2 is my all-time favorite Mario game for reasons I can't really explain...well, I suppose I can try. It's different from the other Mario games, and I like things that are...um...different. I like the graphics a lot, because good graphics make you, um, feel good. Yeah. I also like the music for the same reason. It has a really cool ending, and cool endings rock, of course. Plus, it's a Mario game! Mario games rock! (Except for those lame non-Nintendo Mario games like "Mario is Missing" and "Mario's Time Machine." They suck.) I actually had dreams about SMB2 when I was a kid, and whenever I heard piano music resembling the main overworld tune, I'd instantly start daydreaming about me playing the game...sad, isn't it? =P
I'm currently working on a major SMB2 level/graphics/code hack, titled "Legend of the Blob Bros. 2." You can find info on this massive hack at my website, listed below. DoiF!
